For the chicken stew:
- 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cut
- 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup chopped celery
- 2/3 cup chopped carrots
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp poultry seasoning
- salt and pepper, to taste
For the dumplings:
- 3/4 cup Bisquick mix
- 3 tbsp sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
- 3 tbsp milk (add extra for desired consistency)
